A wedding has more food moments than you might think. There's the welcome canapé on arrival, the dinner or walking dinner after the ceremony, the cake cutting, the evening nibbles during the party and, to top it all off, a late-night snack towards the end of the evening. We coordinate all these moments and ensure that flavour, timing and presentation are perfectly aligned.

No two weddings are the same. One is intimate with 40 guests, another grand with 300. One calls for a formal four-course menu, another for a relaxed walking dinner or luxury buffet. These are the main formats we work with:
A walking dinner consists of 5 to 8 small dishes brought around the room by our serving staff. Ideal for weddings where atmosphere, movement and conversation take centre stage. Your guests keep mingling and the food comes to them. Popular for between 60 and 250 guests.
A formal dinner of 3 to 5 courses with full table service. Plated presentations by our chef, wines paired per course and a fixed running order. Suitable from 20 guests up to the full capacity of your wedding venue.
A warm and cold buffet with multiple themed stations, for example a fish station, a meat station, a vegetarian station and a dessert station. Guests choose for themselves and come back for a second plate. Works brilliantly at weddings with a wide variety of dietary requirements.
For weddings with a more relaxed vibe we set up live cooking stations or park a food truck in the garden. Our chefs prepare sliders, pasta, tacos or prawns on the spot. It creates atmosphere, produces great photos and keeps the energy high.

Our wedding packages are all-inclusive. That means no hidden costs on the final invoice and no separate charges for tableware, service or corkage. As standard you receive:
For dietary requirements and allergies we work with a guest list on which you can specify per person what is and isn't permitted. Each guest then receives the correct plate, without confusion or double-checking at the table.
Every wedding catering booking from 60 guests includes a tasting session as standard. You come to us as a couple and taste the main dishes from the proposal. Based on your feedback we adjust the menu until it's exactly right. This session is included in the quote — it's not something we add on afterwards.
We also use the tasting session to go through the schedule for the day: what is served when, in what order, and who arranges what. This way everyone knows exactly what will happen on the wedding day.

Our wedding packages start at around €85 per guest for a fully serviced wedding day including welcome canapé, walking dinner or buffet, bar, serving staff and tableware. For more elaborate concepts with a tasting session, live cooking stations and a premium wine arrangement, prices range up to €150 to €175 per guest.
For wedding dates in June, July, August and September we recommend booking 9 to 12 months in advance. For other months, 6 months in advance is usually sufficient. Kasteel Henkenshage as a wedding venue, however, is often fully booked 12 to 18 months ahead.
Yes. We have a complete drinks department with wines, beers, soft drinks, coffee, tea, spirits and champagne. You receive one all-inclusive quote covering both food and drinks. That prevents any surprises on the final invoice.
Absolutely. Every serious wedding proposal includes a tasting session for the couple. You taste the main dishes from the menu proposal and can adjust based on that. The session is included in the quote.
Every day. In addition to Kasteel Henkenshage, we cater at castles, churches, farms, city hotels and private gardens throughout Noord-Brabant and neighbouring provinces. We always visit the venue in advance to go through the practical details.
Of course. We work with a dietary register per guest and have separate preparation lines in the kitchen for halal, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and allergy requirements. You indicate via the guest list who eats what, and we translate that into the correct plate on the table.
A dedicated project manager from our team is present on the day from setup through to breakdown. This person knows your schedule, liaises with the registrar, the photographer and the DJ, and keeps an eye on the timing. On the day itself, you don't have to arrange a thing.
